Sewer (Wastewater) System
It’s important to properly dispose of the wastewater or sewage created through various uses of water in our community, such as showering, dishwashing, laundry and flushing the toilet. After the water has been used, it enters your household’s wastewater pipeline, then flows into Roxborough Water & Sanitation District’s main wastewater lines to treatment at South Platte Renew (SPR). SPR provides treatment for Roxborough as well as Littleton and Englewood.
The District charges a flat monthly fee for using our sewer system, meaning that the rate is the same for all residents. The current monthly charge for sewer (wastewater) services can be found on our Rates & Fees page.
